“Die Nacht in der wir Männer wurden” ist ein kurzweiliger Physical Theatre Abend mit Night-Life-Vibe, Drag und original Live-Musik, der sich mit positiven Formen von moderner Männlichkeit auseinandersetzt. Aus einer nicht-binären und trans-männlichen Perspektive befragt das (i)dentityteam, was Männlichkeit eigentlich ist und wie wir männlich sein wollen. Dabei bedienen sich die Künstler*innen einer breiten Palette an künstlerischen Elementen wie Bewegung, Choreografie, Musik, Stand-up Comedy, Schauspiel und natürlich Drag! Euch erwartet ein humorvoller, künstlerischer und roher Deep Dive in den Freibadpool aus Identitätsbildung, Pubertät, Coming-outs und Transition. Es gibt Songs über Gefühle und männliche Rollen in Beziehungen; es gibt Cowboys, Bademoden und Balztänze; Und es gibt vor allem eine wichtige Frage: Ist das jetzt männlich?

S. Rudat & das (i)dentityteam arbeiten in ganzheitlichen Arbeitsprozessen, die durch Interessen und Kompetenzbereiche statt durch Hierarchien strukturiert werden. Ihre Arbeiten sind gleichermaßen poetisch, politisch, sinnlich und komisch. Ein vulnerables Adressieren von gesellschaftlich brisanten Themen und die Arbeit mit Drag, Sprachaufnahmen und Live-Musik sind Kernaspekte ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit. S. The night we became men

Physical theater with S. Rudat & (i)dentityteam

"The Night We Became Men" is an entertaining evening of physical theater with a night-life vibe, drag and original live music that explores positive forms of modern masculinity. From a non-binary and trans-male perspective, the (i)dentityteam questions what masculinity actually is and how we want to be male. The artists use a wide range of artistic elements such as movement, choreography, music, stand-up comedy, acting and, of course, drag! You can expect a humorous, artistic and raw deep dive into the open-air pool of identity formation, puberty, coming-outs and transition. There are songs about feelings and male roles in relationships; there are cowboys, swimwear and courtship dances; and above all, there is one important question: Is this male now?

S. Rudat & the (i)dentityteam work in holistic work processes that are structured by interests and areas of expertise rather than hierarchies. Their works are equally poetic, political, sensual and comical. A vulnerable approach to socially controversial topics and working with drag, voice recordings and live music are core aspects of their artistic work. S.
