In the year 35 after reunification, this work could become the music book of the year in Germany: Geralf Pochop, himself an active East Berlin punk, has produced a long overdue systematic account of women in GDR punk. Before the Berlin publisher Hirnkost (Klaus Farin) launches the official nationwide reading tour at the beginning of November, UNERHÖRT! will be offering an advance taster: Nancy De Gregorio, an East Berlin punk woman (almost) from the very beginning, will read from the chapter dedicated to her and show photos and film snippets.
This will be followed by a moderated discussion between Nancy D.G. and Annette Benjamin (ex-Hans-A-Plast, now The Benjamins), not excluding other guests - if that's not a culture of dialog across ex-borders!
